The two most dynamic bantamweight fighters in the world will clash in an ultimate rematch for all the marbles, as TJ Dillashaw looks to prove the title is rightfully his when he goes against the man he took it from. Renan Barao’s incredible 32-fight win streak came crashing down when these two first met at UFC 173 — the event that saw Dillashaw knock the champ silly for five rounds before finishing the job in the fifth, which made for a historical upset win for the team alpha male/bang muay thai-trained athlete, who entered the UFC pretty much as a wrestler with decent jiu jitsu and has blossomed into a well rounded threat to the rest of the division. I’m sure the Brazilian will be more aware of his power strikes early on in the fight when they’re both coming in fresh. But is a few months of healing enough for Barao to shake the cobwebs off, come back and perform the way he did before that night of May, 24 at the MGM Grand? Find out when these two hook ’em up in a rematch for the 135 pound strap, only this time it will be taking place in Sacramento, Calif., at the Sleep Train Arena on Dillashaw’s turf, which is something the champ both is/isn’t looking forward to.
