Clay Guida heard a call-out of Conor McGregor earlier in the night at UFC Fight Night 39, and he made sure to let the Irish fighter know he is ready when McGregor heals up.

Guida earned a decision victory over Tatsuya Kawajiri Friday, dominating him with strong wrestling.

“There is a leprechaun the UFC’s protecting,” Guida said. “I don’t call anybody out. But after your injury heals up, if you wanna fight a real man.”

Guida also mentioned his chest hair and caveman-looks, along with there not being a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

However, McGregor wasn’t the only fighter Guida mentioned, also stating he would be willing to move up to lightweight to finish business with Josh Thomson.

“We have a past,” he said of Thomson. “Put me anywhere. Wherever. I’m ready to roll.”

The win was Guida’s second since moving down from 155 pounds to featherweight, as he also beat Hatsu Hioki last year via decision.
