UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw, was recently booked to rematch the man he took the title from, Renan Barao, in the champs hometown of Sacramento, California. And though he has no trouble laying another beating on the Brazilian, Dillashaw says he wasn’t very intrigued with the fight to begin with. But because he will be performing in front of a flock of local friends and family members, it takes away from the fact that he will have to immediately face the same dude he just beat up for 2o plus minutes to eventually stop by TKO in round five.

“I wouldn’t say I was excited, but I understood,” said the champ when asked how he felt about the thought of rematching the guy he just knocked out. “He’s been great for nine years, undefeated for thirty five fights, so he built a name for himself. And I look to do it again, it’s gonna be a lot of fun. I get to fight real quick, stay in shape and continue where I left off.”

August 30, 2014 is the set date for these two to dance for the second time. Does Barao have what it takes to bring the title belt back to Brazil, or does Dillashaw’s level of confidence erase those thoughts for good?
