3:45 on the mat in round 3 with 5 strikes landed from that position.

PB nailed it.

Duffy should get better at standing up if all it took was five strikes to keep him on the mat for nearly four minutes.

It's pretty hard to stand up from leg hugging. 10s longer and he would've been subbed.

Very occasionally refs actually stand fighters up for it. Not often enough though.

I hope this isnt directed towards me. :-( I like Dustin but im not sure how well he will do. I would rather see him beat up chiesa before he gets a top ten opponent dont like Chiesa for some reason.

I don't know man, for having a shattered nose and not being able to breath I thought he did pretty well. Things happen in a fight that change what everyone expects to happen...Poirier adapted and Duffy didn't. I'm a bigger fan of Duffy and hope he comes back strong but I see that fight more as a testament to Poirier's mental strength than him spoiling it.

Perhaps we should discuss this further over a large amount of alcohol?

The only thing this fight proved to me was that Duffy can't hang with a grappler. Diamond did what Diamond does. Doesn't matter what weight class he fits into he'll never be a champion. DP has talent for sure but he's just mediocre. This was really more of a litmus test for Duff man than it was for DP IMO.

LOL

Dustin Poirer vs Nate Diaz

PLEASE.

Nate would spank him, and there would be no need to make it a 5 rounder because nate would finish him in under 3 rounds no doubt in my mind.

hook it up please :lolol:

Looks like he is a polished diamond, give him the winner of Alvarez vs Gaethje or Barboza. I think he can beat all three.
