Drinking, or eating fruits which is better.

Are there any difference, in drinking fruits and eating fruits? As in nutritional values. Cause my dad always ask me to blend 3 or more fruits and blend em with water. Is it any different, if i eat those fruits with the same portion? Will blending it lose some vitamins? PLz share.

Eating fresh fruits improve our health and prevent from a number of diseases. The more effective fruits for the good health are apple, orange, grapefruit, banana, grapes, dates, berries, mango, and peach.

So are you saying don't drink them? how is blending up and drinking a fruit less beneficial than eating it?

lol i think that dude was spam.

anyways eating the fruits and vegetables would be a better option.

Its because using blenders and such are called centrifugal (like centrifugal force) in which the blades of the blender spins really fast and chops up the fruits/veggies. This high speed process kills the enzymes in the food, losing vital nutrients.

The kind that is actually better to juice rather than eat is called mastication juicers.
Just like its name it masticates the fruits and vegetables. Meaning it smashes them rotating very slow (not 'cooking' the fruits)
(these juicers are expensive though, cheaper ones start at $300)

Why is this good?
Because the way it smashes the fruits mimics how a human chews food. And when you chew your food it releases the enzymes from the raw food.

Summary: eat them unless you have a mastication juicer

How big of a deal is this? Sounds like some hippie-dippie shit (no offense intended). I'm probably going to continue blending my fruits, because thats the only way I enjoy consuming them. How much am I missing out on?

^Probably not much, if not not at all. This mania over preserving enzymes has always been speculation, IMO. Can you:

1. Prove that blades moving in a circle kills enzymes of fruits?
2. Prove why this matters?

Drinking fruits with no sugar is healthier.
