That being said he lost a lot of credibility when he flat out refused to fight Glover and instead opted to fight Brandon Vera. He lost a lot of merit with that move.

Good post. That Machida KO was special.

Teixeira was a killer at one time and Shogun wanted none of it. Flat out duck.

Their first fight was amazing. Seeing how well Shogun did aganis't Machida then seeing him get robbed.

Given how both fighters have looked in recent years it would be cool to see them finish their trilogy.

Shogun vs Machida 3!

Jon Jones I can't judge, I believe he took PED and got away with it in most of his fights so if I take him out of the discussion. Cormier would probably be there as well. Rua's finish and ending of the 'Machida era' was epic though. Chuck ended Tito's was obviously also great.

A prime Cormier vs a prime Shogun I would take DC all day.

what if shogun could use stomps and soccer kicks..

Spoiler:
perhaps Jones beating Cormier, twice, solidified him as the best LHW of all times.. Cormier is a great fighter.

Yeah man. I have UFC 104 on DVD, i just watched their first contest a few weeks ago! Great one. I would love to see Shogun go down and fight Machida at 185 lbs for the trilogy.
