What do you do when not watching MMA

Postby philphan » Sun Aug 13, 2017 6:21 pm

This year we went to South Dakota for a week to see Mt. Rushmore. The old Presidents were cool but we had some other things we liked more. My youngest boy and I really like to swim, so we found hotels with water parks. The big blue slide was out favorite. We must have went down a thousand times. We also liked the Reptile Garden. He got to touch some different snakes and touch a giant tortoise also. He loved it. We also went to The Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. It was great. We had some fun with the prehistoric bear. It was a ton of fun.

I used to practice my kickboxing and grappling drills in the park. I would also go to different martial arts places and spar the instructors. Got tired of getting injured still do some weight/fitness training.

Drink, eat, and do jiu jitsu.
For those regarded as warriors, when engaged in combat the vanquishing of thine enemy can be the warrior's only concern. Suppress all human emotion and compassion. Kill whoever stands in thy way, even if that be Lord God, or Buddha himself. This truth lies at the heart of the art of combat.

Looks great Phil.

Unfortunately, the only thing I have been doing lately is working. :-(

Work, smoke weed and drink. Currently working on my 1964 Impala. Just got a new crate motor for it. The original engine finally took a shit on me.

What are you going to do with the original motor? Is it a 327? Those early 327s are pretty great. Worth more than some crate motors in some instances. Why you crate motor and no rebuild? :butthurt:

Im selling the original motor to my cousin. Its a 283 non SS and its been rebuilt twice already. I just figured its time for an upgrade. I was looking for an LS engine but to expensive for me. Im not really what you would a car guy but my brother is a mechanic and I have a few buddies who have shops so I just ask them what In should do. I get all my work done pretty cheap.

:star: Good eye buddy. It's a replica of the Giant Short Faced Bear, but they said it looks very similar to a Grizzly. We were at the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs SD. They have only found 1 of the Short Faced Bear skulls so far so they made that replica to put on display. All the rest of the mammoth skeletons were real and it is the worlds largest dig site for Mammoth remains. They have a full size Colombian Mammoth skeleton. It's so big that a full grown Asian Elephant could walk under it's chin. We really liked this place and will be going back.

PS. Yes I still love my cargo shorts, good call buddy.
I'm so fucking high.
