Joey Beltran will be look to get back on track at UFC Fight Night 29 on October 9th, when he’s expected to take on Fabio Maldonado at the Brazilian bound card.

The rugged vet will be returning from a nine month suspension for allegedly testing positive for nandrolone, following his bout with Igor Pokrajac at UFC on FX 6 last December. The 31 year-old vet originally was tapped with the unanimous decision victory, but due to his aforementioned drug test, the fight was overturned and declared a no contest.

If you’ve ever seen Beltran or Maldonado fight, and I trust you have, then you know that tilt has the potential to be something special.

Recently the 32 year-old “Mexicutioner” spoke with RM Sports about what he hopes to do once his fighting days are over. You can here what the vet had to say by checking out the video above.
