Fresh off the biggest win of his career, Tim Kennedy was hit with a bit of a low, confirming on Twitter that he suffered a broken hand at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale.
The incredible part is that Kennedy broke the hand in the first round of the five-round war with Bisping from Canada. It still was able to score a decision victory, and even out-struck “The Count.”
“Night of highs & lows in the UFC,” he posted on Twitter. “Broke my hand in the 1st rnd. My hat is off to Bisping he’s a tough dude.”
Kennedy (18-4) has won four straight and is a perfect 3-0 inside the Octagon. He is 10-2 in his last 12 overall, with the two losses being for the Strikeforce middleweight title.
