HOUSTON – Saturday’s UFC 192 event drew an announced attendance of 14,622 fans for a live gate of $1.859 million.
UFC officials announced the figures at the post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended.
In the main event, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) retained his title with a split-decision win over Alexander Gustafsson (16-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC).
UFC 192 took place at Houston’s Toyota Center. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
Among the four UFC events to date at the Houston venue, UFC 192 is bringing up the rear in both attendance and gate figures.
The all-time attendance figures at Houston’s Toyota Center include:
- UFC 166: 17,238 ($2,500,000 live gate)
- UFC 136: 16,164 ($2,230,000 live gate)
- UFC 69: 15,269 ($2,817,200 live gate)
- UFC 192: 14,622 ($1,859,000 live gate)
