Video: Ronda Rousey discusses Eminem, nickname, wings on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was a guest on Wednesday’s edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where she discussed how she got permission to use her “Rowdy” nickname, among other topics.

Rousey, a longtime pro-wrestling fan, actually took the nickname from “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. She discusses asking Piper for the nickname after being introduced by coach Gene LeBell.

Check it out above as Rousey also discusses new Eminem lyrics about her, a gruesome injury she fixed herself, how she celebrates her wins with a bucket on wings, and more.

Rousey, of course, is back in action at UFC 184, where she co-headliners against Cat Zingano (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC). The pay-per-view event takes place Feb. 28 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
