== Biography ==
Wallhead got into martial arts at the age of 7, by complete accident. After seeing the movie, “The Karate Kid,” his mom brought him, to what she thought was, a Karate studio, which in reality ended up being a Judo class.
== Mixed Martial Arts Career ==
Wallhead was expecting to be a participant on The Ultimate Fighter 9, which featured fighters from both the United States and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately for him, he did not make the show, but was pegged as an alternate.
: “I was very disappointed. I thought I was getting in based on what people were telling me. Obviously I was misled and stuff. At the time a lot of hopes were going on that,” Wallhead said.
According Wallhead, the UFC brass did not chosen for the show, as he had “too much experience.”
He would later be announced in 2010 as one of season two of Bellator’s Welterweight Tournament’s participants. In his opening round he was scheduled to face off against Jacob McClintock. Unfortunately for Wallhead, he was unable to travel from his native England due to a volcanic ash cloud that had halted air travel across Europe days before the fight. He had to be replaced by Ryan Thomas who lost controversially against Ben Askren.
== Personal Life ==
Wallhead has a wife and kids.
