usually when people fight mayweather they throw combinations of 3 to 6 punches and when mayweather blocks everything they get frustrated and reset, and then try again the same combination...they do that for far too many rounds until they realize they can't hurt him, by that time is already too late cause floyd still has a lot of energy left from not punching too much and just blocking...

connor has to go in there and man handle floyd from the very first round...he can't expect to win via better technique

Strength and youth are his only weapons...just go in there and throw every punch with all his power, from weird angles , for 3 rounds and hope to wobble floyd and then go in for the kill..

if he tries to be a better boxer than floyd he will get humiliated...

I think he needs to clinch a lot and throw a lot of body shots. soften his mid section, break his ribs, make it painful to breathe and painful to move. it's much harder to block or duck body shots than head shots. That's where I believe he can take advantage of his youth, size and strength advantage.

I noticed that as well. Aside from that it seemed pretty in depth. The truth is McDuck will drop that right hand to throw that left, and he will get dropped just like Hatton did. Not enough time to tighten up those holes in his style imo. Floyd has faced an aggressive fighters before, and counter punchers before. I agree his best shot, is to come at Mayweather out the gate, because beyond the first four rounds, he will tire and turn into a huge punching bag and end up getting embarrassed and even KO'd.

I feel ya man mcgregor does leave quite a few openings. We saw in the diaz fights that he takes a few while dishing it out. Against the cardio machine nate this proved ineffective. The question is whether mayweather will be able to weather the storm. He has great cardio, but thats when he dances around and dodges the whole time. Will he be able to do that while being tagged the whole time?

I agree with willis on the clinch game and hooks. Thats the most mma he'll be able to use and a slowed down, rusty old mayweather may not be able to take the pressure and leave himself open for the straight left down the middle
