Just when we thought the injury-plague was over it strikes again and this time, all in one day. According to MMAJunkie, three main-card match ups will be affected after 3 fighters have had to pull out due to injury.

The first one being . Vladimir was scheduled to face Matt Hamill (Who was coming out of retirement) at UFC 152, and was scheduled to be on the main event before he tore his Achilles tendon. Now with Vladimir out of the fight, Matt Hamill will be facing his original opponent (Before Vladimir stepped in) in Roger Hollett. The bout will still be on the main card. See full article here

Next up on the injury list is former UFC Light-heavyweight Champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Rampage was looking to challenge the up-and-coming prospect Glover Teixeira in UFC 153’s co-main event. With Jackson out of the bout due to an unknown injury, it was unclear whether the bout will be postponed, or a replacement will be decided. It has been rumored that light-heavyweight striker Fabio Maldonado could pose as a possible replacement, however nothing has been decided. See full article here

And finally, UFC Feathweight Champion Jose Aldo has pulled out of his main-event slot at UFC 153. He was scheduled to face former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar for the 145 lb. crown after his former opponent Erik Koch pulled out due to injury. Now with Aldo injured, Frankie Edgar has been given the option to either face a new opponent next month, or be pulled from the match up according to the article
